Location & Directions
From the Northwest & Connecticut
Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge (towards Queens-LI) to Cross Island Parkway (south) to the Grand Central Parkway (east) which becomes the Northern State (once you cross the Queens/Nassau Co. border). Take Northern State east to Long Island Expressway (495) east to Exit 57: Veterans Highway (Route 454) east. At the 2nd traffic light, which is Route 454, make a right and continue east approximately 3 miles. Look for the Econolodge (on your left) at the intersection of 5th Ave and Vets Hwy. We are approximately 2/10th of a mile past the light at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Vets Hwy on the right side just past the Citgo Station.

From the George Washington Bridge take the Cross Bronx to the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Clearview Expressway to the Northern State and follow the above directions.
From Manhattan
From the Queens Midtown Tunnel merge onto I-495 E (Long Island Expressway) to Exit 57. At the 2nd traffic light, which is Veterans Memorial Highway (Route 454), make a right and continue east approximately 3 miles. Look for the Econolodge (on your left) at the intersection of 5th Ave and Vets Hwy. We are approximately 2/10th of a mile past the light at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Vets Hwy on the right side just past the Citgo Station.
From Brooklyn-Staten Island-Southern Queens
Belt Parkway (east) to Southern State Parkway (east) to the Meadowbrook (north) to the Northern State (east) to Long Island Expressway (exit 57); follow the above directions.
From Long Island
Long Island Expressway to Exit 57. If coming from Eastern Long Island, exit right off the exit ramp and at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp, make a left turn onto Veterans Highway (Rt 454). If coming from the West, make a right turn off the exit ramp and at the 2nd traffic light which is Veterans Highway (Rt 454) make a right. Continue east approx 3 miles. Look for the Econolodge (on your left) at the intersection of 5th Ave and Vets Hwy. We are approximately 2/10th of a mile past the light at the intersection of 5th Ave and Vets Hwy on the right side just past the Citgo Station which is at Roosevelt Ave. & Veterans Highway.
OR
Sunrise Highway (west) to the Nicolls Road exit (Gateway Blvd) follow signs for Vets Hwy (454) west. Stay in the right-hand lane. Merge onto Vets Hwy and continue west for approximately 5 miles. We are on the left side of the Highway, just before the Citgo Station.
