Upon recheck, prepucial swelling has completley resolved.  Right front leg swelling has almost completely resolved.  Tito is now at home and happy with his family where he will continue with wound management.

]]> Katy is a 5 year old female pitbull who was diagnosed with pulmonic stenosis.  Pulmonic stenosis is when the pulmonic valve of the heart is constricted more than it should be and it causes an increase in pressure to the right side of the heart.  This increase in pressure can cause problems such as collapse, arrhythmias, difficulty breathing and can lead to congestive heart failure.  On Aug. 20, 2012, she had a balloon valvuloplasty procedure to correct this abnormality.  The surgery was a success and significantly decreased her pulmonic pressures.  Katy was just seen for a recheck examination on Oct. 4, 2012 and her pressures are still decreased and her owners report that she is doing great at home.
