Alina Culica, DVM
Emergency Medicine

Dr. Alina Culica joined our Emergency & Critical Care department in July of 2018. She was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania before moving to the United States where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A & M University.

After earning her DVM, Dr. Culica went on to complete an intensive 1.5-year internship in Small Animal Surgery and Internal Medicine at Med Vet Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. Her journey then led her to Long Island where she completed two years in a surgical internship. Since then, she has been practicing emergency medicine across Long Island in a number of facilities including Long Island Veterinary Specialists and now here, at Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists.

Dr. Culica’s background, education and experience allows her to offer well-rounded and knowledgeable treatment for your pet in any veterinary emergency. She will care for your pet as if he/she were her own.
