Alex Fasano, DVM

Dr. Alex Fasano joined the ACNYVS team in late 2020. He is a Long Island native who has fostered a lifetime of caring for animals since his days working as a veterinary assistant throughout Long Island and New York City in high school. Dr. Fasano earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications before moving on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2017, having completed his Clinical Year at North Carolina State. Upon graduation, Dr. Fasano spent three years working as a small animal veterinarian in Miami where he deeply valued the client/doctor relationship he formed with many pet owners. He enjoys focusing on an integrative approach to medicine and views every case with an open mind and a willingness to think outside the box. After starting his career in Miami, Dr. Fasano made the decision to move back to Long Island and join the Emergency Care team at our Farmingdale location.

When Dr. Fasano is away from work, he values time spent with his wonderful family; a wife, a daughter and a French Bulldog named Pierre. Additionally, he enjoys filling his spare time with fitness activities, such as sports and spending time outdoors.
