Dr. Zonenshine completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University with an Honor's Thesis and continued at Cornell University for veterinary school.
She received her Masters of Public Health in a dual-degree program through the University of Minnesota and completed her internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist (TCVM) and published genetics researcher on topics including canine orthopedic disease, neurological disease, and conservation medicine.
When not in the hospital, Dr. Zonenshine works internationally as a wildlife veterinarian for National Geographic. She is the proud fur-baby mother of a teacup Chihuahua and horse and spends most of her leisure time horseback riding, reading, and experimenting with new culinary recipes.
She is honored and excited to devote her time in the ER treating and caring for beloved companion animals.
