Cardiology

Dr. Brienne Williams joined the staff at Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists in July 2013.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She came to Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists for an internship in Internal Medicine & Surgery department, which she completed before accepting a full-time position on our Emergency Services team.

Shortly after, she began and completed a specialty internship and residency to become board certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of Cardiology. While she enjoys all aspects of practicing Cardiology, she particularly enjoys interventional surgical procedures including balloon valvuloplasty, patent ductus arteriosus occlusion, and pacemaker implantation.

In her free time, Brienne enjoys running, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and her two cats.
